This picture was taken with my Samsung Galaxy S10 on Thursday, April 13th, 2023, at Sixth Avenue and 37th Street in Manhattan, New York. This bus was running on the QM16 Express bus route, running from 34th Street and 3rd Avenue in Manhattan to Jacob Riis Park in Neponsit, Queens (somewhat near Beach 116th Street on the A and Rockaway Park Shuttle trains). It was running with an MCI bus, which are getting rarer by the day becuase of them getting retired from service.

This was initially recorded as a short form video to be able to archive many different kinds of MTA buses, just in case if they retire from service for the future generation to see. Although media form archives is the biggest it’s ever been for the next generation to see, there might be some parts missing in it. There’s been some parts in previous history that’s been lost, such as some buses or subway cars. I would like to contribute with that for the next generation to see.
